The town government was forced to draft in extra police and rent public toilets to cope with the huge influx of visitors and media ahead of the actors wedding at the town’s Castello Odescalchi Castle.

Bracciano Mayor Patrizia Riccioni had planned to bestow upon the couple, an honorary citizenship of the town, but has changed her mind after the pair avoided the media and locals.

Riccioni says, “Honorary citizenship? They do not deserve it. “A whole town has sacrificed itself for them, volunteers worked all day, traffic was closed off.. They (Bracciano residents) put up with all the inconveniences very patiently. It would have been nice if the couple had showed themselves to the public even for a brief moment – maybe at a window or from a balcony.

Well, it looks like not all the world was quite as captivated with the TomKat wedding as we thought. 

Can’t say that I blame them.  I can only imagine what an event like this would do to my small town.

They should have at least thanked the locals.

Holmes wore an off-the-shoulder Armani gown with a train in ivory silk cadis adorned in Valenciennes lace and Swarovski beaded crystal embroidery. Holmes also had an ivory tulle floor-length veil and ivory silk shoes. Armani, which outfitted the entire wedding, supplied Katie’s bouquet of calla lilies, as well as a champagne evening gown, which she wore at the reception.

Cruise wore a navy blue Armani tuxedo.

As strange as I think Cruise has become over recent years, I do have to admit they make a striking bride and groom.

I do wish them the best of luck.

It looks like Katie Holmes is going to be just as pricey under the gown as she is in the gown itself.

Tom Cruise’s bride-to-be went to Le Bra Lingerie in West Hollywood and spent more than $3,000 on lacy underthings, more than $1,000 of which was for a “bridal collection” set.

Among the purchases: a Chantilly lace bridal collection, reports a source. Among the goodies: a bra that cost $440, a $340 thong, a garter belt for $220, and silk stockings that went for $95 — for a total of $1,190.

Honestly, she could have spent much less on a replica of Oprah’s couch and gotten him just as excited.

Katie Holmes recently announced her plans to allow Tom Cruise to impregnate her again, but she first wants to be Tom’s wife before their spawning.

The couple’s wedding, which was rumoured to be taking place this autumn, is now reportedly being fast-tracked because the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star is hoping to get pregnant again by the end of the year.

The source added: “Tom’s always intended to make Katie his wife, but other things kept getting in the way. Now, the thought of becoming a biological father for the second time has put their wedding on the front burner.”

I’ve often wondered what the hold up is on this wedding, but then I consider who the groom is to be and realize the attention whore that he is, he’ll drag it out as long as he can and make sure it happens when people least expect it just to make certain that his name rates higher than Brad Pitts.

To be honest though, Brad Pitt having outpatient surgery on an ingrown toenail would interest me more than Tom Cruise anything!

Us has learned exclusively that after a 15-month engagement, the couple have finally set their wedding date. “It’s going to happen in the next three to six weeks,” a source close to the twosome tells Us.

Color me shocked!  But didn’t TomKat announce much earlier in the year they would be having a Fall wedding?  So why is the next three to six weeks such a surprise?

Personally, I say it’s about time!

At least Tommy will get something done before Brad Pitt!

Perhaps there will be a set of 3 million dollar exclusive wedding photos.

The very first, much anticipated official photos of Suri Cruise from the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair have finally surfaced! Proud papa Tom Cruise, 44, and mama Katie Holmes, 27, grace the cover with their beautiful baby girl.  Katie Couric revealed these pictures during tonight’s broadcast of CBS Evening News saying, “After much speculation as to why she’s been undercover for so long, here is proof positive. Yes-Suri (Yessirree), she does exist!!”

At first glance, I find it hard to believe the baby in this photos taken in July (when the baby was THREE months old?) was born on April 18th and weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces.  I don’t see blue eyes (but that can be attributed to the poor quality photos).  Furthermore, I’m not seeing much of mom or dad in her – in fact, I think she looks to be of mixed decent.

Perhaps it’s just the way the whole Suri Cruise story has played out that’s caused my mind to be skeptical — so what do you think?  Is the baby in this photo the true offspring of Tom and Katie or something other than what it seems?

King of Queens star, fellow Scientologist and TomKat pal Leah Remini has made public that she actually did see The Cruise baby at the couple’s L.A. home recently.

“She’s a beaming baby,” Remini tells PEOPLE in its new issue. “She looks like Tom and Katie. She’s just beautiful.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I would think IF I were Tom and Katie and I wanted to be taken seriously, I’d have someone outside my Scientology clan to make a statement like this.

We all know that Tom Cruise is a bit quite childish when it comes to the competative battles he chooses, but could it be that he’s willing to wager Suri for another egomatic trip?

Perhaps if the world truly believed that funds received from photos of Suri would be donated to a good cause similar to that of Brangelina rather then the possibility of a new wing on some Scientology homeing station, photos of TomKitten could possibly bring in a bit more.  I seriously doubt it would be anywhere near as much as Shiloh Jolie Pitt though.

If ever there were a person that made one wonder if we decended from alians, it’s Tom Cruise.  He almost makes Scientology believable.

Lindsay Lohan has a hot new man — restaurateur and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino heir Harry Morton.  Apparently the two were spied in Malibu, California just days after she celebrated her 20th birthday.  I’m hoping to score a photo of this supposed hot hunk soon.

Funnyman Eddie Murphy has decided to scare up a bit of spice in his own love life and has been confirmed as cultivating a love life with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice.

Britney Spears’ husband Kevin Federline is reportedly in talks with his wife’s label Jive Records.  The former dancer has aspirations of becoming a rapper and has failed to land a record contract as of yet – but there’s still hope and KFed will be clinging onto the skirt strings of his wife at least one more time in attempt to score a deal.  I suppose someone taught him well but seriously, how many times do you try and try again before you should admit you just can’t bring it!  KFed should hang it up and be a husband and dad!  As much as we all hate to admit it, there does come a time to just grow up!

Lastly, what’s the deal with Suri Cruise’s birth certificate?  Was daddy even in the country in the few weeks following the little princes’ birth?  It would appear not when “a friend” is signed on the birth certificate rather then daddy Tom Cruise himself.  I’m sure we’ll be hearing lots more about this!  Is there something else about Scientology we don’t know?  Kind of makes one wonder.
