Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton has been given an unprecedented invite to spend Christmas Day with the British royal family, The Mail on Sunday newspaper reported.
If the 24-year-old says yes, it will be a significant sign of her growing acceptance in royal circles and a very clear acknowledgement of her part in the life of William, second in line to the throne.

Prince Harry’s got a new look

The 21-year-old grandson of Queen Elizabeth II joined the march by 2,000 soldiers, including former and current members of his Blues and Royals regiment, in London’s Hyde Park.
By tradition, the marchers wear a suit and bowler, reflecting the “proper order of dress” for off-duty soldiers before World War I, when the march was instituted. Via

Prince William delayed his presentation of the FA Cup to the Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard so he could console a fan whose father had died in the Millennium Stadium during the match.
At only 23, Prince William is already showing the kind of compassion his mother, Princess Diana, was so widely known and respected for.
