Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin just released a statement to E! News apologizing for his “outrageous behavior” over the last few months.

In the apology, he blames a wonky “moral anchor” for letting him get carried away by the fame from his family’s reality TV show, which have included hanging out at bars with college girls, girlfriend-hopping, taking large sums of money from the family’s bank account, and putting a stop to the production of the family’s TLC reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

After only 15 months of marriage, Private Practice actress Kate Walsh and her husband Alex Young both filed for divorce last December. The proceedings haven’t been very friendly, with accusations and court interventions taking up space in the tabloids.

Kate looks to have moved on, though, and was spotted with Neil Andrea yesterday heading out to a movie in West Hollywood.
Kate currently stars as Dr. Addison Montgomery on Private Practice, and also has three other movies coming out: Hot Tub Time Machine, Legion, and One Way to Valhalla.
Today also happens to be Kate’s 42nd birthday!

Avril Lavigne and her husband of only three years, Deryck Whibley of the band Sum 41, have confirmed that they’ve separated.

They announced the split just this past week after both had been noticeably absent from the other’s side for several months. Avril wrote on her website this weekend: “I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.” Avril also hints that age might have been a factor in the break-up, pointing out that they became friends when she was 17, started dating when she was 19, and married when she was 21.

I’m sure I’m not alone in assuming that Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine, has already been divorced from his last “ex” wife. Apparently not!

Hefner and his estranged wife Kimberly Conrad Hefner married in 1989, just after she was named Playmate of the Year in the magazine. The couple, who have two sons together, separated in 1998, and though Kimberly filed a petition for divorce around that time it was later withdrawn.

Following the recent announcement that Kid Rock and his 16 week bride, Pamela Anderson, 39, were divorcing, Rock, 35, has been spotted pulling a K-Fed – enjoying the company of several female companions.
According to Page Six - the singer has been getting close again with his South American ex, Conchita Leeflang, whom he dated in 2005.

Christian Slater’s divorce from estranged wife Ryan Haddon has been finalized, according to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE.
It’s unknown how the custody issue has turned out.  Slater was seeking custody of their 5-year-old daughter Eliana and 7-year-old son Jaden.
Slater, 37, and Haddon, 35, a TV producer, married in 2000 and separated in January 2005.
Given how quiet this divorce has been in comparison to that of Alec Baldwin, I’d say they have reached an agreement – let’s hope so for the kids sake at least.
