Pamela Anderson and fiance Kid Rock, real name Robert James Ritchie will be entering into marriage July 29 in St. Tropez, France where they will wed aboard a yacht.

Former “Baywatch” star posted a message on her Web site revealing details of the whirlwind wedding.

Anderson’s representative confirmed to Us Weekly, “They’ve been close for a very long time and decided that now is the right time to take the next step.”They couldn’t be happier about their future together.”

In her statement Anderson writes, “Yes. I’m finally getting remarried … it’s been a whirlwind … spontaneous, but well thought through.

“Feels like I’ve been stuck in a time warp. Not able to let go of MY family picture…it’s been sad and lonely and frustrating….I’ve raised my kids alone in hope of a miracle. Well my miracle came and went. And came back and came back because he knew that I’d wake up one day and realize that I was waiting for nothing. I’m moving on…I feel like I’m finally free….I’m in love. I’m happy….I see the light…sounds dramatic but it’s true…..I know some women can relate to this….My children are getting older. They know the truth and they are strong, smart kids. They love their Dad. They love their new Step Dad who they’ve known for years…time will pass. Wounds will heal. Some people may never grow up. Actions speak louder than words….watch!”

Anderson has two sons from her previous marriage to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and Kid Rock has one son from a previous relationship.

After the way Pamela and Kid Rock were thrown out of the Kentucky Derby a few years back, I can only imagine what they’ll do to the French Riviera.

Furthermore, what is it with women these days.  Consider Mischa Barton’s taste in men!  I just don’t get the whole attraction to the ICK factor!

Mischa Barton snapped at a reporter when asked about Paris Hilton during a recent after-party for the British awards show, BAFTA.

“Paris isn’t my rival,” Barton told the London Mirror. “I met her one or two times and she’s making out there’s this big rivalry between us and there so isn’t.”

Apparently the “supposed” catfight has to do with Misha’s boyfriend Cisco “ewww” Adler and his former girlfriend, aka Paris Hilton’s best friend, Kimberly Stewart.

I’m sure this whole catfight thing is great for Cisco’s ego.

I’m not sure I’ll ever know the attraction to Cisco, dude must be packin’ is my best guess.

According to Cisco Adler and this interview with People – Mischa Barton gets a wee bit jealous when he’s onstage – often shirtless: “She doesn’t like all the girls screaming at my naked body.” And to combat that jealousy he wisks her off to Paris.

Let’s do the math, shall we? Jealousy = Paris.
