Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Engaged

Serial girlfriend Penelope Cruz may finally be ready to tie the knot. The Spanish actress and longtime boyfriend, actor Javier Bardem, have reportedly gotten engaged over the weekend.

The couple, who have been dating since 2007 after meeting on the set of the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona, announced in August that Penelope was four months pregnant.

The two have worked on previous movies together, including “Jamón, Jamón” from 1992 and “Carne Trémula” in 1997. She and Javier are the first two Spanish actors to win Oscars.

Penelope has previously dated several high-profile Hollywood stars, including Tom Cruise, and Matthew McConaughey. She’s also been pretty vocal about her views on marriage in the past, and earlier this year said “I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love, and children.” Guess she’s changed her mind!

Penelope has recently finished working on the movie “Nine” with Daniel Day-Lewis, and is set to work on “Rain In Spain.” Javier is currently in India filming “Eat, Pray, Love” with Julia Roberts.

Shania’s Getting Married!

My karaoke hero is getting married. Yes that’s right, whenever I perform karaoke which is more often than not, I tend to go for the gold. Shania Twain, ‘Man, I feel like a Women.’ It’s a hit! So me and Shania go way back – maybe i will be invited to her wedding?!

However, not sure if this is something to celebrate and make a deal about. This is quite a confusing love triangle situation, or in this instance a ‘love-square’. Frédéric Thiébaud is the ex-husband of Shania’s friend Marie-Anne. Marie-Anne had an affair with Shania’s husband, Robert “Mutt” lange. What a little Can you say switch-a-roo? Now, eight months later, Shania and Frédéric are getting married!

According to Star Magazine, the couple showed off matching promise rings. Hers had silver diamonds and his was just silver. The two can’t wait to make it official and have been discussing wedding plans all summer hoping to tie the knot next year. Insider says that Frédéric’s is the only person Shania trusts outside of her family and she she is so lucky to have found him.

Bachelors Beauty Melissa Rycrofts Turn!

I’m a strong believer in the saying ‘everything happens for a reason’. It is an awful saying to hear when its your turn to hear it because all you want to do is scream at the person and say well this IS meant to be so why ISN”T it then! However you don’t know at the time, but you eventually see that it is true. Everything happens for a reason. It always takes a bit of time to realize it, but eventually you will believe it. I bet this is the case with Melissa Rycroft who got dumped on national television by Bachelor Jason Mesnick. She must have been so hurt and I bet somewhere along the way someone must have said to her ‘everything happens for a reason’. She probably didn’t believe it back then, but she can now because Melissa is engaged to gorgeous Tye Stickland. Now this one’s a looker!

After having her heart broken it is nice to see that Melissa will have her happy ending. Tye popped the question last Friday at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas, where they then celebrated with his and Rycroft’s parents says shares eonline.

Rycroft and Strickland have been good friends for a long while however Tye says that the timing was never on their side. The couple started dating not long after Mesnick broke off the engagement and obviously looks like things went well! They look great together and I’m very happy that Melissa found someone to make her happy.
