In the apology, he blames a wonky “moral anchor” for letting him get carried away by the fame from his family’s reality TV show, which have included hanging out at bars with college girls, girlfriend-hopping, taking large sums of money from the family’s bank account, and putting a stop to the production of the family’s TLC reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Jon says he’s seeking help in the form of frequent Oprah guest Rabbi Michael Shmuley, saying that he appreciates his “morality-centered-and-values-based advice, coupled with his profound commitment to fatherhood and family.” And he’s apparently so committed to his new-found path that he’s going to make a public apology to everyone he’s ever hurt at New York’s West Side Synagogue this Sunday:

“I wish for the public to know my regret at having, at times, betrayed the moral principles that have always guided me. This forum will also allow me to illustrate the further steps I am determined to take to regain the trust and confidence of loved ones as well as the public who have watched me over the years, together with Kate, raise our eight beautiful children.”

Estranged wife Kate Gosselin was making plans with TLC just last month to cut Jon out of the reality series, turning it into just “Kate Plus Eight.” Plans for that have been put on the back burner, however.

So what do you think: Is he being genuine or has he just hired a really good PR coach?

I think he should apologize for the diamond stud earrings and Ed Hardy clothes, too, while he’s at it.

The rumors swung into high gear when Kirstie Twittered about a nude photo of Foxx that made its way online, saying: “I don’t need to see Mr. Foxx’s naked picture. I see him naked three times a week… standing over me.”

When that was brought up during a recent appearance on Conan O’Brien, Jamie explained what had happened with the photo, and later in the interview admitted that he’s had a crush on the Cheers actress and also that he likes his “women thick.” When pressed further he didn’t exactly deny that they were currently dating, either!

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out! Chances are it’s just some flirting between the two, but who knows? Jamie is currently starring in the drama/thriller Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler.

Patrick and his wife Lisa Niemi met when Patrick was 19 and Lisa was 15 when they both enrolled in the same dancing class. The couple were married in 1975 and have no children. Patrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2008, and he and Lisa were able to put together a memoir before the illness began to take its toll.

Patrick starred in “sleeper” hits Dirty Dancing and Ghost, and one of my favorites, To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. Recently, he completed a season of The Beast on A&E.

Their marital un-bliss is said to be caused by everything from Pete’s partying to Ashlee not being ready for more children, though the information seems to always come from “close sources” (as it always seems to — who are these people and why do they talk smack about their friends?) and never from the couple themselves.

Anyway, Ashlee was spotted leaving Nobu restaurant last night after having dinner with some friends, and when asked by a paparazzo if she and Pete were having troubles, she answered “No way!”

She walked to her car with her left hand held stiffly in front of her so her flashy wedding ring was as noticeable as possible without outright holding it up!

Ashlee and Pete have been married since May 2008, and have one son together, Bronx Mowgli, born last November. Ashlee is currently starring on the upcoming Melrose Place as Violet Foster.

Star Magazine informs us that an insider says Renée and Bradley have been traveling a lot lately promoting their movies, but once they are home, Renée will be living with Bradley at his place in Venice Beach. Luck girl!!! She even has her own bathroom in the house that Bradley set up for her stocked with her favorite candles, perfumes and makeup.

The couple first announced their romance during a dinner at Antonucci’s in NYC on June 30th after co-staring in the upcoming Case 39. They have already shared romantic getaways and Renee is planning on meeting her man in Vancouver where he is filming the A-Team. Star Magazine says she is putting everything on hold to solidify her relationship with him.

Do reality shows about your relationship screw things up? Well, of the top of my head the most recent so far to prove that this actually might in fact be true is Jon and Kate, Jessica and Nick, and I guess it sounds like Tori and Dean are on the same boat.

Star Magazine tells us that according to a friend of Dean’s, their relationship has been a lie since the get-go and Dean has even said Tori looks “like a horse!” Haha that is hilarious. She does look like a horse though and all that weight that she has lost doesn’t help her horse-like-face either.

Dean is with Tori for the money and fame only apparently. Dean has always craved fame and Tori was his ticket. I think that is a horrible way to think but also horrible thing to admit if that’s what he really said. Dean was devastated when he found out Tori didn’t inherit the multi-millions she was expecting when her father passed away. He thought he was going along for the ride.

So who do we believe? Television – and what we see? Or what we don’t see behind scenes? We will have to find out because Dean has threatened to only stay with Tori if the money keeps rolling in, unless he can hook a bigger or richer star. If that’s true…that’s disgusting. She might look like a horse but she is still a person.

The main reason they were in St. Tropez was that Jon has a business meeting with Ed Hardy, the designer of Christian Audigier to discuss an upcoming children’s clothing line. Christian says Jon is ‘huge’ and since everyone knows his name, everyone will know their clothes. Looks like Jon has some new and upcoming exciting things heading his way! They are going for fun, easy and comfortable clothes for kids. This won’t be just a two-man team, Hailey will have a lot of input as well as Jon’s eight children who will serve as models for the clothing.

Interesting that Jon has found himself using his children for fame and money yet again. Out of both Jon and Kate, I thought Jon was the one who didn’t care about the fame and wanted out of tv. Looks like he now is just doing his own sort of fame, but it won’t be any different. Since day one these kids have been on tv and don’t know life any other way. Now they are going to be models? I’d love to flash forward to 10 years from now and see what their 8 children will be like.

After having her heart broken it is nice to see that Melissa will have her happy ending. Tye popped the question last Friday at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas, where they then celebrated with his and Rycroft’s parents says shares eonline.

Rycroft and Strickland have been good friends for a long while however Tye says that the timing was never on their side. The couple started dating not long after Mesnick broke off the engagement and obviously looks like things went well! They look great together and I’m very happy that Melissa found someone to make her happy.

This is a show that took off I think more than anyone thought it would. Out of nowhere, this real life story about having 8 kids was made into a reality tv show and viewers went crazy. I’m not sure if it was the fact whether no one could believe she was to have sextuplets, or that it was just a fascinating story, but whatever the case, Jon and Kate both grew very popular. I would almost go as close to saying they become famous, which is probably why they hit rock bottom. I think that is fair to say but the publicity and media is enough for people to go down if they do not know how to handle it. That is exactly what happened in this situation. Not to mention, it got a little bit to Kate’s head. Have you seen her 10 years ago compared to her pictures now? After all, Kate was the one who wanted to remain committed to their TV career where as Jon recently told PEOPLE he wanted a less high-profile life.

What I think is so sad is that the kids have not spent ONE day not being on television. Their entire life has been on tv and displayed to the public. I understand that they got good money for this and was very helpful to this, but revealing their kids privacy for their entire lives makes this a completly different story and I think very unfair. Especially with an outcome like this. What are the kids to do now? They only know what it’s like to be on tv let alone having a mother and father. Have Jon and Kate always been unhappy and just putting on a show this whole time for the public? or do you think they really were in love and gradually just wore down through season after season? Not to mind you have to handle 8 kids. That’ s a lot of work!

Their entire past must have made life boring and so ’set’ it’s no surprise that both Jon and Kate had a ‘wandering eye’. Jon had photos and there was talk of him being with a 23- year old school teacher, where as Kate had been seen with their bodyguard in close counters. They admitted they had problems and was unsure where their relationship was headed, and yesterday we got the scoop of exactly what direction that is.

My heart goes to those 8 children, and only hope this is treated in the ‘best’ – worst cast scenario.

It was only a while back when the news came out that Britney had started to date her agent Jason. Taking a trip to Bahamas last month took their relationship to the next level so Jason thought why not pop the question? He didn’t exactly get on one knee but Spears didn’t care and said yes and celebrated with a bottle of champagne. They spent all night talking about their future and didn’t sleep till after 3am. Why does Britney always feel the need to rush into things? She already has two sons, and two failed marriages, don’t you think she would learn her lesson?

As if she isn’t jumping into marriage too quickly, she is already thinking of a December wedding. After her Federline wedding which she recalls as a ‘trashy’ wedding, she wants this to be more classy and memorable. She wants it to be like a fairy tale.

Spears lives a bit of an impulsive life, always jumping through things too quickly and never fully thinking things through. Who am I to say that they are not in love however I do think that this was a rash decision and maybe not necessarily the best. Do you think she is doing this for attention?
