On her Sirius satellite radio show, Rosie had a pet psychic on and they got to talking about Rosie’s long-haired chihuahua, Misty. The psychic pressed Rosie for information, saying that Misty was telling her she had come from somewhere else but that she preferred living with Rosie.

The psychic asked Rosie about who “sometimes looks after her” and O’Donnell explained that her four children care for the pup, which she got three days after Carpenter left. “What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog.”

Rosie told USA Today last month, “We’re a family, we remain a family … Kelli and I love each other very much, and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties.”

The couple, who have four children together, were legally married in San Francisco in 2004, though it was later ruled invalid after the California Supreme Court banned same-sex marriages in the Proposition 8 ruling this past May.

The couple, who have eight kids — a set of twins and sextuplets — have enjoyed several years of reality TV stardom on TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus Eight,” with cameras practically following them and their kids’ every move.

However, they announced at the beginning of this past summer that they’ve been having marital trouble for a while and intend to divorce. Jon took this as a chance to be seen with a rotating bevy of girlfriends, including the daughter of family friends, 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, a relationship he’s currently “taking a break from.”

During his very public apology session at a synagogue in Manhattan, New York with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, Jon says he regrets the last eight months of public relationships, and that he’s got a few years to prepare before he thinks he’ll have to explain himself to his kids. He also said someday he’ll like to apologize to Kate: “First, to Kate: I want to apologize to Kate … so, when that time comes, I will apologize to her. And I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye. And that was a huge mistake.”

Despite the rumor, which has apparently been ongoing since August, the couple, who began dating in 2007, were spotted hand-in-hand during what was supposed to be a “romantic weekend” in Northern California this week.

People magazine says that even though they may technically still be together, they seem to have hit a rough patch and are spending time away from each other more often, and more time with friends instead. They also point out, though, that they’ve both been busy with upcoming projects and do plan to participate together in Summit on the Summit, a climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness of the clean water crisis.

Jessica looks to have a ton of projects on her plate, with five upcoming movies — two set for a 2009 release and three in 2010 — including The A-Team movie, and eight more currently in development!

Justin is gearing up for several concerts and charity events, including the Shriners Hospitals For Children Golf Open in Las Vegas next week.

The change is said to have come from waning viewership, which dropped nearly 80% from the beginning of the current season (I like to think of it as a silent protest of former fans of the show). The new spin will focus more on Kate as a single mother, with Jon just making occasional appearances.

The couple, who share custody of the eight kids, decided early on in their separation that while they would each get a different place to live, the kids would remain in the million-dollar house in Pennsylvania with one parent living with them dependent upon scheduling.

They announced their split on TV this past June, though Jon was snapped with a rotation of college girls out at bars earlier than that, and then made his relationship with Hailey Glassman public soon after. Kate was rumored to have been dating her bodyguard, though those rumors seemed to have fizzled out not long after they started.

They announced the split just this past week after both had been noticeably absent from the other’s side for several months. Avril wrote on her website this weekend: “I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.” Avril also hints that age might have been a factor in the break-up, pointing out that they became friends when she was 17, started dating when she was 19, and married when she was 21.

It was revealed in People magazine that the marriage troubles started about six months ago but that they didn’t stem from Deryck wanting kids or because Avril wanted to date other people. The split is amicable and though the couple are no longer living together, the source says Deryck moved from their Bel Air house on his own and wasn’t kicked out.

Jodie Foster is possibly single again for the second time in just over a year after her girlfriend Cindy Mort left her to return to an ex.

Jodie apparently left her long-time partner Cydney Bernard, whom she’d been in a relationship with for 14 years, to be with Mort last June. Jodie and Cydney share custody of two sons that Jodie gave birth to via in-vitro fertilization and Bernard later adopted.

Jodie and Mort met when Jodie was filming The Brave One in 2006, in which Mort was the writer-producer. They allegedly fell in love while working together and Jodie ultimately broke things off with Bernard a few months later.

Jodie’s current project is The Beaver in which she co-stars with Mel Gibson. Gibson plays “a guy who walks around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand and treats it like a living creature.” Should be… interesting?

Hefner and his estranged wife Kimberly Conrad Hefner married in 1989, just after she was named Playmate of the Year in the magazine. The couple, who have two sons together, separated in 1998, and though Kimberly filed a petition for divorce around that time it was later withdrawn.

Hef kept the Playboy mansion and Kimberly and the boys moved into a house next door. Hugh, who has had no less than three girlfriends at a time living with him in the mansion has been paying Kimberly $40,000 a month since the separation, and is hoping that with the divorce proceedings this will go down to $20,000 a month, and ultimately end in two years.

Yesterday, Hef told TMZ: “I am happy to be out of the marriage. I only remained married (to Conrad) for the sake of the children, at her request. I am happy to have this behind me.”

I remember reading an article several years ago, just after The Girls Next Door started airing, that Hugh and his ex had frequent family dinners together with their sons. This probably doesn’t happen much anymore, as both boys are now in college.

Anyway, Hugh is currently living with his three new girlfriends, twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, and Crystal Harris.

Eddie and Brandi have been married for eight years just this Monday. How’s that for an anniversary. Eddie has asked for spousal support from Brandi and shared custody of their sons, Mason who is 6, and Jake who is 2. Apparently Eddie goes my March 15th as the day they separated says Star Magazine.

She is heartbroken. Any normal girl is when it comes to the end of an important relationship. Source told PEOPLE that she loves Tony but that it has been difficult lately since he has been busy with his career and with her getting ready to shoot her show The Price of Beauty.

What gave the breakup rumous away? Well the fact that Tony showed up with 14 friends at a Hollywood hotspot without the birthday girl. That’s gotta be rough. Romo was having a good time with the boys and had a few girls stop by his dance floor table.

Simpson’s birthday plans originally were to throw a Barbie and Ken themed party which obviously didn’t happen. I’m very glad at that because that sounds like the silliest birthday theme party EVER. Only Jessica would think and plan a party like that. She is already half way there to being Barbie anyway.

Looks as though this relationship is finished for good and there is no thoughts about getting back together. Jessica said that she guesses it just wasn’t meant to be which I think is a surprisingly good attitude for Simpson. Looks like she is coming to terms and although has not given up on love, is taking the time to heal and slowly move on.

Just on Sunday she tweeted “Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.” Thank god you can only have so many characters for tweeting otherwise who knows what else she would have written. A litte intense for me.
