Summer Glau’s Mystery Man

Sci-fi beauty Summer Glau was spotted enjoying some Sunday afternoon shopping yesterday with a mystery man in Los Angeles. Carrying some fresh cut flowers and a couple bags of food, the couple looked happy and relaxed as they held hands on the cool autumn day.

Summer made her big-time debut as River Tam on Fox’s Firefly, which was canned after just one season, and was also a regular on USA’s The 4400, Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and a two-episode guest appearance on The Dollhouse, which has since been canceled anyway even though her episodes haven’t aired yet.

What I wouldn’t give for a show starring Summer Glau that wasn’t prematurely canceled! Some are calling it the “Glau Curse” but I just call it rotten timing.

She’s got a big-screen movie, The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy, due out next year, and is currently working on a television movie, Deadly Honeymoon.
