Jennifer Hudson sings Superbowl National Anthem

After all Jennifer Hudson has been through this year, she deserved a night to truly shine and that she did.
Jennifer delivered on one of the most difficult songs to sing – mostly because American’s tend to be a little sensitive when it comes to their anthem and patriotism.
Jennifer did a wonderful job – take a look for yourself. It’s not the best or clearest version, but you can hear just how beautiful she carried out the task.
This was by far the most exellent performance I have ever heard by anyone in 43 years!
She started singing and I changed the channel. Came back 4 minutes later and she was still wailing. She should be executed for treason.Worst performance since Janet Jackson. At least Janet only showed her boob.
Stanicus reminds me of the countless people in this country who are not musicly inclined but think they can sing lithening to others who thing it sounds awesome but sounds like garbage ala the first few beginning weeks of American Idol. That performance whether it was real or lip-synced is her voice and was one of the best national anthems ever sung. Do you know anyone Stanicus who can belt that out like that?…I thought not… gimme a break.
I like Jennifer and, above the party noise where I was, heard much of her rendition the Stars Spangled Banner with appreciation, but at one time, I looked at her mouth while hearing the words and thought, “Hey, she’s lip-synching!” But when I said that out loud, everybody pooh-poohed the notion. So, does anyone know the truth ’bout that?
Jeniffer was good, but no one has every come close to Whitney Houston singing the National Anthem.
There is nothing special about Jennifer Hudson I don’t know why this blog post started by ” with all Jennifer Hudson has been through…she deserved…” No she did not deserve to sing at the Super Bowl that is a big prime time event. It should be reserved for older, more experienced musicians with talent and established careers.
Hudson’s performance (lip-synched or not) was one of the best parts of the Super Bowl — second to the ads of course
I dont know why but I am just not a huge fan of Jennifer Hudson. When i heard her sing i knew right away that she was lip-synching. I have never heard her sing anything live and sound that good!.. As an artist myself I knew right away that had been pre-recorded…With all that said, she pulled it off well. I agree with the other person who said NO ONE has ever come close to Whitney Houston singing it, and she sang it LIVE!!!!!!
