New Brangelina Digs in Long Island
January 22, 2009 by Gayla McCord
The world’s most beautiful couple are preparing to move into the 48-acre waterfront estate named Sassafras in the Lloyd Neck harbor region of Long Island’s North Shore. Angelina Jolie , Brad Pitt and all their children will be renting the property through mid-summer while Jolie shoots her next film "Edwin A. Salt."
The main house is 22,000 square feet, and the Tudor-inspired property comes complete with two helipads, a private dock, and an 11-bedroom staff house. The mansion has been on the market for an asking price of $60 million.
What more could a couple want? Besides two?

I am proud for them. I hope they enjoy it immensley. By the way, I am in need of a car if they have an extra one. I have a birthday coming up and I will be 65 yrs old. How about that!
Really… we can’t make our mortage payments and they can rent a mansion for filming. Please…recession my ass!
It is really difficult to see these stars with 5 or 6 $60 million dollar homes when so many people live out of their cars. I personally have an apartment but I am struggling to try to put enough money together to have enough for a down payment for a CONDO!!!! It is really hard on single people who have nobody else to fall back on for help and then you read these articles about those that could buy the condo that I want with the money they carry around as pocket change!!!!!!
I’m happy for them; they do alot of good work with their money. However, I do think that I’m in the wrong line of work!
I love Brad and Angelina! They work hard for the money! You have 6 beautiful children! God Bless
I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 6, and greatgrandmother of 1 and i’m only 56! Need a nanny anytime call me! I live in Chicago, IL
Lots of Love to all

They do work hard and it pays well. I work hard and smart and it pays well. Find your passion and make it a reality and then see how your life is truly fulfilled with no complaints! Still complaining, move those goals into reality and see yourself grow. Try it, Brad did, Angelina did, Trump did and I did…
well im disabled & worked all my life my house leaks cant put a new roof on id settle for a 2 bedroom home your’e lucky to make it thru the mo let along eat good food
The bottom line for all of us is we and only we are responsible for our lives and how they turned out. I’ve had my share of bad luck, but I never at anytime felt someone else should cater to me and neither did I ever expect any handouts. We can all do without “things”. The most important things in life are education, family and the ability to carry ourselves. I made sure my children were well educated so they could take care of themselves,,,,I call them my sucess……
I think that people should mind their own business
and tend to their own issues. They had to start somewhere and they werent handed anything. I am sure that they had to do without at some point and nobody cared then so why start now?
If you are bitter about how they have so much and you have nothing… get off your butts and do something about it.
Are you kidding me…they got off theyre butts and did something???? These people are ridiculously overpaid, and while I dont think they should have to buy people cars or houses, they could spend a little less time trying to ACT like the golden family and invest in our future as a country. A few scholarships for hard working kids trying to make something of their life would be nice for starters, or how about donating to public schools so these american children can get a good enough education to find out how “to get off their butts and do something”Oh and while im on this subject the usa is full of beautiful young children looking for a home with a little love and a few books and crayons, much less a 60mill mansion, with a full staff. I am def all for making your own way, but do you really think this type of luxury is necessary? Let us not forget the people who pay their way!!!!
