Rob Lowe Shares Dramatic Wildfire Evacuation Details

If you didn’t hear about the raging wildfire in California over the weekend, you must have been without access to electronics in any way, shape or form.

The wildfire that raged near Santa Barbara sent thousands of people fleeing their homes, among them, actor Rob Lowe.

“It was just like Armageddon,” the actor tells KABC-TV.

Lowe, 44, thought his wife Sheryl was joking when she informed him of the fires in upscale Montecito community where Oscar-winner Michael Douglas and talk-show icon Oprah Winfrey have homes.

Twitter was abuzz most all weekend with updates from many who live in and around the Santa Barbara area – many sharing Twitter pics as the horrifying experience unfolded.
