Michael Phelps has taken the big plunge with with his girlfriend and has taken her home to spend Thanksgiving in Baltimore with him and his family.

The Olympic champ and American golden boy has been dating Las Vegas cocktail waitress Caroline “Caz” Pal, 26, for nearly two months. The two met after his record-setting performance in Beijing last summer.

I don’t know about you, but two months seems awfully quick to be bringing someone home – but I’ve heard of whirlwind romances before – hopefully Michael’s family will be able to put Caz to the test and see what the girl is made of.

Heather Locklear and ex-husband Richie Sambora will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday together – along with Locklear’s boyfriend.

“Richie and Heather are spending Thanksgiving together with their daughter Ava,” a friend of Locklear’s has revealed to People. “Jack Wagner and a few good friends will also be having dinner with them.”

I think it’s great when split or and blended families come together in the spirit of the season, set their issues aside and do what’s best in the interest of the children.

This has to be such a good thing for the daughter of Locklear and Sambora.

Kudos to both of them.

In Touch Weekly seems to have a radar zeroed in on Angelina Jolies ovulation and pregnancy status. They broke the news of Jolie’s second pregnancy with twins and they are standing firm that the actress is expecting another child in the new year.

Jolie and Pitt already parent three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara and three biological children, Shiloh and infant twins Vivienne and Knox.

Recently, Jolie has given several interviews about her desire to expand their family even further. And during the launch of DVD Kung Fu Panda last week, she was quoted as saying, ‘Anything could happen. We’re open to anything, we love kids and we’re having a great time. It’s chaos in our house, but it’s so much fun. We’ll definitely have more.‘

See, Madge has filed for divorce from husband Guy Ritchie shown here and with the two being all single and all, they’ve crossed paths and have only just begun dating.

My question is, do you think either of these two cheaters will ever be able to trust one another?

As much as I’m impressed with the new leaf Britney is turning, she has to open her eyes and realize those episodes of drinking, little white jackets and shaving her head have to have some bearing on the product she produced with K-Fed.

If they don’t get a handle on the little guys now and start leading by example, they will wake up in 10 years and realize they have made a terrible mistake.

It’s almost tragic – don’t you agree?

Lindsay Lohan has refused to quit her online blog – because it proves to the public she’s not “empty”.

The Mean Girls star has used her MySpace blog to share her thoughts on politics, round-about discussion of her relationship with Samantha Ronson and random bits that make her more ‘human’ to her readers and fans.

She says, “There’s a person in here. And I have feelings too, whether it’s about politics, the person I’m seeing, the person I’m not seeing. That’s my way of connecting. I don’t want people to think that I’m just an empty f**king whatever.”

I would like to see more stars blogging – letting readers and fans get a glimpse and feel of them as humans.

The only problem I see is the freaks who make it bad for everyone. Much like the crazed fan of Paula Abdul who recently ended her life near Paula’s home.

Personally, I enjoy following stars, what they are doing, where they are going – mostly because I can’t go and do all they do.

Oprah Winfrey’s annual and hugely popular “Favorite Things” show (which airs Nov. 26) won’t include her usual list of gifts with a heavy price tag.

This time the popular talk show hostess has decided to thrown in a twist…the gifts on her list cost next to nothing says a statement released by an Oprah Winfrey Show rep.

Audience members are also getting in on the act.

“On [Wednesday's] show, viewers reveal their creative ways to spend less over the holiday season. You’ll meet a mom who shows us how to create a one-of-a-kind treasure that comes straight from the heart,” the statement says. “Then, one family talks about their very own tradition that doesn’t cost a cent.”

With Black Friday less than a week away and Cyber Monday trailing closely behind that, what are you thinking about this years holiday season?

Will you be tightening the budget? Will you not change your spending habits much? What, if anything, do you plan on doing different this year – compared to previous years?

Former Full House child star Jodie Sweetin, 26, is splitting with her set designer husband Cody Herpin. According to sources Sweetin filed papers last week in Orange County, California, for legal separation from Herpin, whom she wed in July 2007.

The couple welcomed daughter Zoie last April.

I wonder if writing her addition memoirs uncovered deep feelings she’d not recognized before that placed undo stress on her marriage. It would seem the most feasible idea, don’t you think?
