The beginning of the end for Leoni and Duchovny?

Mel Gibson has purchased the ocean-view, Malibu home of David Duchovny and Tea Leoni.
Gibson and his family reside in a guard-gated neighborhood a few miles north of the Carbon Canyon home that Duchovny and Leoni, had listed June 1 at $12 million.
According to public records, the sales price was about $11.5 million.
Could this be the beginning of the end for Leoni and Duchovny? A couple obviously in a marriage on the rock after Duchovny entered rehab for sex addiction over the summer.
Is Mel Gibson cashing in on an opportunity?
Sad to observe from a distance, what’s happening between the couple who have been married for so long – so long by Hollywood standards anyway.

I guess I’m just an optimist, but I have to wonder if Mel Gibson wasn’t helping out a friend instead of trying to take advantage of someone… I hate to hear that anyone is struggling with their marriage. Sex addiction…
