Loni Anderson, 62, married folk singer Bob Flick in California on May 17.

As fate would have it, a posed photo in 1963 is credited for first uniting the pair.

The same photo was used to decorate their wedding cake – what an adorable addition to the days events.

Long story short… Both attended a movie premiere in Minneapolis when Anderson was sent for a fan photo opp with Flick and his group.  While the pair married on May 17th, they had their reception on June 23 at Vibrato Grill Jazz … Etc. in Bel Air, Calif.

People reports the inscription on the cake read, “When we met, 5-17-63.”

How sweet the two would marry on the same day – 45 years later.

Uma Thurman is engaged to her uber wealthy Swiss boyfriend, Arpad “Arki” Busson.

On Saturday, the couple themselves made the announcement, on page 75 of London’s The Times.

Under the heading “Mr A. Busson and Miss U. Thurman,” it reads, “The engagement is announced between Arpad, son of Mr Pascal Busson, of Paris, and Mrs Florence Harcourt-Smith, of South of France, and Uma, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert A. F. Thurman of New York.”

Well, you just can’t get anymore confirming then that now can you?

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer continued to fly under the Hollywood Hookup radar when the actress reportedly slipped unnoticed  into the musician’s backstage area at the Hard Rock Calling festival in London’s Hyde Park, Aniston stood quietly in the wings while the “Georgia Calling” singer completed a 45-minute set in front thousands of fans.

American Idol champ from the second season, Ruben Studdard has obtained a marriage license according to sources.  License was obtained Monday in Alabama.

Studdard, 29, arrived at the Shelby County Probate Office in Birmingham with fiance’ Surata Zuri McCants, 30, just before noon to fill out the appropriate paperwork and walked out with license in hand. Studdard is a Birmingham native.

While there is no immediate word on when they planned to marry, it’s safe to say Ruben will be a married man sometime in the next 30 days.  That’s the duration for which an Alabama marriage license is valid.

Ashley Dupre’ is speaking out for the first time since the New York prostitution scandal that uncovered an affair between Dupre and Governor Eliot Spitzer.  Ashley is paying tribute to her supporters and telling her critics that they only make her stronger.

“Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment,” Dupre’ writes on her MySpace blog, in which she calls her mood “Thankful.” “Your words have touched me, and I thank you for that … with all my heart, I love you guys!!! ”

Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves spent the day at the beach, Malibu Beach that is.

Matthew played Frisbee while a very pregnant Camilla watched over a friend’s youngster.

Later reports suggested Camila stole a kiss from Matthew – but based on the images I’ve seen, it looks like Matthew was the one playing kissing bandit.

Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson appear to be getting along nicely these days and rumor has it they actually enjoyed a romantic weekend in Los Angeles.

The pair seem quite inseparable during the Lilo’s breaks from filming the upcoming comedy Labor Pains, hitting a burger restaurant for lunch on Saturday before heading out for a shopping trip to Kidrobot on Melrose Avenue on Sunday.

Now for all you armchair therapists out there – do you think the actions that have often appeared to be sex addictions with men were perhaps a means of Lindsay trying to run away from the fact that she IS gay?

Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia de Rossi a magnificent ring with pink diamonds for their upcoming wedding that will air in part on DeGeneres’s talk show.

DeGeneres and de Rossi confirmed a date had been set as the famous lesbian couple walked the red carpet at Friday night’s 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

The two are reportedly in the midst of planning a “dream wedding” and finding that wedding planning isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and that it is actually quite stressful.

Amy Winehouse recently underwent a prolonged hospital stay.  Reports from the U.K. Sun had Amy coughing up blood and fainting.  However, more recent and supposed more accurate reports say she had a simple chest infection.

So there you have it people – she’s not dying of some life threatening illness like TB – she’s just what I’ve thought all along, just EFFed UP in the head.

Now I wonder where I should send my bill?

Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl, Maddie Briann earlier this morning.

“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”
