The former object of teenage girls’ affection, including my own, is speaking out on his own understanding of the plight of today’s stars, including Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus.

Having been a child star himself, Kirk, now 37, says the pressure and trappings of fame are definitely hard to deal with under the spotlight. What’s worse is being a money-making “product” of media conglomerates.

Kirk has written a book that details having to fire his mother as his personal manager – having to work with the FBI to trap a pedophile who was seeking him out and much more.

I can’t imagine wanting to put my kids in harms way as a childhood star and I don’t think there’s any amount of money that could persuade me to.  I guess that’s the difference between those who parent for real and those who would rather give birth to their job.

Kid Rock has compared his marriage to ex-wife Pamela Anderson to being “thrown under the bus” – because the experience was so traumatizing.

The 36-year-old rocker married the Baywatch blonde beauty in 2006, but their relationship only lasted five months before they filed for divorce.

Rock admits his time with Anderson was one of the most difficult periods of his life. He says, “It (marriage) taught me a lot. I touched the stove, it’s f***ing hot; it burnt the f*** out of my hand. I’m not going to touch the stove anymore.”

He kinda looks like he’s been hit by a bus doesn’t he?

The Maxim Hot 100 Party brought out some of the biggest names, shortest skirts and highest heels.  Included on their list was Adult Movie Queen, Jenna Jameson.

I can’t believe Jenna is only 34 years old.  She looks like a frail old lady, bony and battered.  I guess that’s what life in the fast lane gets you.

Actress Minka Kelly is keeping a full dance card lately with several A-listers’ battling for her attention.  Among those hopeful suitors is my favorite New York Yankees Hottie Derek Jeter.

Of course I don’t think anyone will ever be good enough for my beloved Derek.

OK Magazine reports the raven-haired beauty, 27, Jeter recently enjoyed a romantic meal at NYC’s Kobe Club, and Derek even scored Minka tickets to see his team play.

Perhaps that’s why the actress recently stopped in to check out Derek’s pad at the luxurious Trump Towers in Midtown Manhattan.

Also targeting Minka’s attentions is Spider Man 3 star Topher Grace, with whom Minka also enjoyed an intimate dinner late last week.

I’m not sure that would be a difficult decision as far as I’m concerned, but then again, maybe I’m missing something.

Thirteen long years I’ve waited on him to wake up and now he decides to end that farce he called a marriage.  Wouldn’t you know it would be after I committed to stop pining after him and get married myself.

Jessica Alba marries Cash Warren in a secret ceremony on Monday, May 19. The 27-year-old actress’s representative Brad Cafarelli has confirmed to People.com a wedding took place.

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room beneath an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. Both were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail and Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants.

The couple arrived at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and about 40 minutes, after the paperwork was processed the pair exchanged nuptials before a staff member from the courthouse.

Alba is currently eight months pregnant with her first child. Warren, 31, is the father. The Fantastic Four actress recently said of her relationship with Warren, who she met on the set of the 2005 superhero movie, “It wasn’t lust, or ‘this is my soulmate’. It was, ‘Oh, I’m going to know you for the rest of my life.’ It was easy.”

Congrats to the happy couple.  I can hardly wait to see baby pictures!

While Robert “Mutt” Lange says that the reason for his breakup with longtime wife Shania Twain was just two people growing apart, PEOPLE sources say the recluse producer was having an affair with the couple’s secretary.

According to the sources, Lange was romantically involved with Marie Ann Thiebaud, who was a secretary and manager of Twain and Lange’s Switzerland home. Despite denials, one source says that Lange and Thiebaud left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship.

Sources close to the couple say country star Twain is “devastated” over the split and was taken by surprise.

Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, have been married for 14 years and have have a 6-year-old son, Eja D’Angelo, together.

I have to wonder if this has anything to do with Shania’s history of celibacy.  Does anyone else remember years ago when she committed to a life of abstinence.  That would have to be a horrible strain on any marriage.

Still, for a man that looks like THAT to cheat on a woman that looks like Shania, who happens to be one of the hottest women in music history – and I mean that in a totally non-gay way, I have to wonder where his head was – pun intended.

Regardless, after 14 years with someone, it has to be a tough split.

Matthew McConaughey and a very pregnant Camila Alves attend the Dodgers game against the Houston Astros at Dodgers stadium. Once inside the daddy and mommy-to-be ate hot dogs and drank beer.

After the game they emerged looking very happy with Dodgers Stadium goodies of which Camila also bought a pink plastic baseball bat to raise money for breast cancer research.

Should Camila be drinking beer this far along in her pregnancy?  It makes me wonder just where her mind is at or even where Matthew’s might be.
