Jeff Healey is quite possibly one of the most distinct guitarists of all time having claimed his place among greats like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton.
I was sad to hear of his passing – but what a wonderful legacy he’s left.
I’m not sure you could go back in time and fine a handful of people that his song Angel Eyes did not touch.
What’s not to love about a man who battled cancer his entire life, who lost his sight at the age of one but rose above adversity to claim such a unique and endearing talent.
Rest in Peace Jeff Healey – you’ll be sorely missed.
I was sad to hear that he died. He was a great musician and a good person.
