2nd Chances for Dog The Bounty Hunter
February 20, 2008 by Gayla McCord
Honolulu based bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman has received amnesty from A&E after the network pulled his reality TV show off the air following his use of a nasty racial slur toward his son’s then African American girlfriend three months ago.
I think this sort of thing falls in line with the recent Jane Fonda slip. I think people have become so loose with their lips they don’t realize the impact their words will have on a much broader audience.
I don’t think people should be crucified for their choice of words as such, but certainly they should be called on the carpet, issue a heartfelt apology and placed in a position that makes them more cautious of the words they choose.
Do you think A&E should be giving Dog a second chance? Am I off base here? If so, why?
