Is there help for Britney Spears?

The very troubled, Britney Spears was taken from her home by ambulance for the second time early this morning.
A police officer on duty outside Ms Spears’ mansion said that the pop star was being taken “to get help”, although he did not say where.
Reports indicate that emergency services were called by a psychiatrist who has been treating Spears at 1.30am local time. It said that she had been taken to the UCLA Medical Center where she was placed on a 5150 hold – the US equivalent of being sectioned, the involuntary confinement of a person deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.
It’s sad to say, but I think this is one of the last ditch efforts those close to Britney can do to truly help her. Letting her spin out of control while waiting for her to grow up isn’t going to work. She’s too far gone for that.
I do hope this effort to help the pop star will be enough.

I try to not write about Britney anymore simply because of how bad it has gotten. My point all along with her is that someone should have stepped in a long time ago to help. She was not helping herself and seemed to really not care if it got worse.
Hopefully with her Dad in control for the time being she can get herself back on some path and maybe one day she can realize the important two things in her life – her kids.
No, it’s not too late. She’s still alive and hasn’t committed any horrible crimes.
I think she will finally get help soon. I’ve never been a fan of hers, but I think it’s sad she has to go through this in the spotlight. She needs to go away somewhere in hiding.
I’m glad that just for once there is a judge who
has a shred of sense; and is putting some sort of
limitation on Ms. Spears. I hope that just maybe
Ms. Spears will stop acting like an imbecile; who
thinks that the whole world should kiss her butt
because she is a celebrity. Not only that; but
maybe the restrictions put on her will ultimately
save her very life; and her two sons will have a
mother, unlike Dannie Lynn Birkhead.
