There goes mom’s book deal on being such a great parent!
“I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious,” Lynne Spears told OK! “She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”
I’m with Jooce on this one… what is there that a teenager can do after curfew that they can’t do before? Last I knew, sex is an any-time-of-day activity.
I had such high hopes for Jamie Lynn too! I thought for sure she’d be a decent role model for young girls.
At least we still have Hannah Montana!

More proof that a baffled mom is a bad mom. Does she even remember what it’s like to be sixteen? Clearly, anyone to can produce Britney is in no position to raise another daughter…although I’ll give you that Jamie Lynn is significantly more attractive.

but i will agree we all make mistakes, just if jamie, dont speed, smoke, do drugs or anything like her sister i say shes a good good role model,

coming from nickelodeon…and it was only like 3 years ago that she was 13..and now pregnant? I’d say…SHE SHOULDN’T EVEN HAVE SEX IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Wait until you’re alil older…say 18 (Man, sex at a young age is overrated). The girl is 16, what does she know about parenting??? Her mom certainly doesn’t teach her well on that aspect since she doesn’t portray herself to be a good parent, so neither can Jamie Lynn.
I give her props for keeping the baby and not killing a life. But having a baby should be about having a family. The boyfriend is not for sure to stay with the girl since he’s young himself. The poor baby is gonna grow up with no father and a mother who is still young and perhaps still haven’t lived her life yet and go out with her friends and party and drinks…etc. Hopefully, Jamie doesnt turn out to be like that. Having a baby shoudl be about settling down…one is at his/her mature age. Hope she does well for the baby is what I hope for

I think Jamie did the right thing by not killing the baby but having sex at that age? Come on she shuoldve had more scence than that. I just hope she’s not gonna abuse the baby and will not go out and be an idoit like her stupid sister. And who every said she was a ho you have no right to say that! She just made a mistake. My aunt made the same mistake but she a sucsess and her husband still lives with her. And she can still make a good role model for under aged pregnat women and girls. I think she’s doing the right thing by keeping it. There should always be consequences paid for actions taken. I just hope that all her money doesn’t make it seem as though parenting were an easy job and that other teen girls get the wrong idea

I think she can still be a positive roll model in spite of becoming pregnant at such a young age.
Jamie blew her life away no parties no drinking no just hanging out . BUT if she was happily married and thought it through , which i doubt she did , I would respect her decision.
