SHE LOOKS FAT, ISN’T SHE?
Not a surprising performance considering Ms. Spear’s recent antics. She looked completely out of it … barely lipsynching, barely moving, barely smiling. She doesn’t seem to be in terribly great shape either, at least compared to years previous. She looked almost sedated. What kind of a comeback is that?

no doubt britney has some issues…but she’s not fat. thats what happens after women have kids. she’s just not 22 in concert everyday. her career is over and i wish she would just accept it, clean up, stay out of the spotlight and try to pick of the scraps and make a decent life for herself and her kids. time to grow up.
She is def not fat, like the previous comment said she is just a tiny bit bigger then she used to be. But you think with this being her comback she could have at least done the hair a bit better, anyone else notice the black roots and crappy hair extensions that have no shape.
I heard so much about how “fat” Spears looked at the VMAs, that I had to log on to see just how bad it was and I was shocked. Shocked that this is what people consider fat! She looks like a normal, fit 25-year-old. I’d kill to be “fat” like that. How serious is the national body dysmorphia that this is what passes for overweight?

She’s not fat by any measure. Comments like that are so very petty. No wonder performers are starving themselves. If they go in public looking health and normal, they get reamed for it. It’s ridiculous.
I’ve never been a Britney fan - I don’t think she’s particularly talented - but good for her for not hiding her head in the sand just because she’s not emaciated.
I admit the boy-cut bottoms aren’t the most flattering, but they’re not flattering on almost anyone. Unless you are an underfed stick, they’re going to accentuate the rear. But for people to say she’s fat? Get real!
that’s not fit either. for someone of her height & previous build, that is overweight. however, she was just pregnant which makes sense. but that does not mean she should go around wearing outfits like that.

Roseanne actually lost a lot of weight and is pretty average. But anyhow, Britney looks pretty damn good for having kids and all. FIRST OF ALL she is not fat. Second of all she just had two kids. The third thing is that she just had a split from the man she stole cut her some slack folks! I think she looks ok to have two kids. Ok maybe she should have covered up a little more and performed sober but she is not fat.

This country has two extremes…the obese and the anorexic, hardly anything in between. That’s why our health statistics are so poor, cuz you’re either dying of obesity or anorexia. To the comments that anyone who thinks britney doesn’t look fat is fatter than she is, well i am a 5′5 and 116 lbs, and she looks way better in a two piece than I think I do. Granted, I think everyone could agree her performance was way below par, but she still looks damn good, she would look good even if she hadn’t had kids with that body. And yea, she dresses like a whore sometimes in everyday life, but on the stage, its sexy. If anyone has ever seen a dance recital, performance or anything, or if you are a dancer yourself, you know that dancers often perform in very revealing clothes much like Britney Spears wears on stage. It would have been nice though if she wasn’t so out of it and actually danced like she used to. I’ve seen performances at various prestigious dance schools and even the 13 year olds wear outfits like that when they are performing. It’s pretty standard for a dancer to perform in something pretty skimpy (i know because i used to be a dancer and a dance critic).. she just needs to stop wearing that kinda clothes in real life. So yea, bad comeback, but way to get in shape and I wish everyone would be proud to have a body like that!!!

She’s not “fat” by any sense of the word. So many she could tone up in the butt area? But, if she did that she would lose boobage to her butt.
She’s definitely outgrown the teenie bopper outfit she had on. I heard she was supposed to have a corset on vs the bikini top. The corset would have been MUCH better.
Personally, if it had been me up there in a toned up bootylicious body I would have called on Kendra’s body painting guru to hook me up at the Play Boy Mansion.

Well, these still don’t tell the story good enough. After watching the video, she definitely is not fit enough to be prancing around in this outfit.
And to all those crying that she’s had two kids - give me a break. She’s also about worth 150 million. Surely with all that $$$, she could find a decent trainer to get her back in shape, especially if she’s going to wear hooker clothes.
Okay here’s the thing that I noticed. I think that her movements, or lack there of, are attributed to her boots. Anyone who has ever worn heels like that can relate that it is not only hard to dance in those, it is damn near impossible just to walk in them. If anyone is at fault here it is her costume designer. Poor choice of shoes, and costume. Now I pose a challenge for all those who think that she is fat…….go sit in your local mall and count all the women that are bigger than her that walk by. If you don’t find that the majority are larger then I guess you have answer to what we should be considering fat. My opinion stands that she is NOT fat. She is just not as toned as she was pre-pregnancy.
