Color me dumb, but doesn’t Alec live on opposite coasts from his ex and daughter?
Wouldn’t an unlisted cell phone number do the trick? I don’t really see the need for a bodyguard.
A little white jacket perhaps, but bodyguard? Nah!
Something tells me, Alec isn’t going to be able to go anywhere near the kid by flight, boat, car or otherwise without the whole world being alerted of his move.

One big reason for the bodyguard was because the press wouldn’t quit hounding them and she got scared that something might happen to her daughter.
