David Arquette Misses Day’s of Being Mr. Courtney

October 13, 2006 by Gayla McCord

coxarquette.jpgDavid Arquette misses the fame his wife Courteney Cox enjoyed when she appeared in Friends because he was able to blend into the background. Cox recently revealed to the world that she and the actor have been to marriage counseling sessions – and Arquette misses the days when he could simply play her dutiful husband.

He says, “I was just the husband around the set. Our life in general was much easier back then.”

I hardly think Arquette went unnoticed, but I can certainly see his point in his not being in the limelight so much when he didn’t walk too close to his wife.

It’s great they are able to be an inspiration to couples who may be going through difficult times though.
