It’s a Boy for Mariska Hargitay
“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star Mariska Hargitay gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
The first child for Mariska with her husband of almost two years, actor Peter Hermann.
The 10 pounds, 9 ounce bundle of joy was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles one week beyond his due date via c-section and with Grandpa Hargitay, actor Mickey Hargitay, and uncle present for the blessed arrival.
Mariska’s famous actress mother Jayne Mansfield died in an auto accident in 1967.
Update: Interesting bit of information I stumbled on - Mariska gave birth to her son just one day shy of the 40 year anniversary of Jayne’s passing. I’m guessing Angel Jayne was smiling down on the birth of her beautiful grandson.
