Being the animal lover I am, I just had to share this precious photo of an adorable young seal with Paul McCartney and Heather Mills McCartney who along with Respect for Animals and the Humane Society of the United States, hope to raise awareness of Canada’s annual seal hunt.
well you can love the adorable young seal with Paul McCartney and ( she’s no lady) Heather Mills McCartney or as we here in Newfoundland call them, the beatle and the BUG!! Did you know that adorable pup is now probably dead because your hero’s touched that pup and it’s mother would then reject it! Did you also noticed in the backgound of the video a person keeping the mother away from it’s pup? Did you also know that seals on the east coast of Canada are not becoming extinct, their population has increased over 2 million to 5.9 million since the early 80’s.Did you know that the seals are shot and not clubbed as was done in the past, it’s not white coats that are hunted, and that the meat is eaten and I know because I can’t wait for a nice flipper pie, which I’ll be having very soon. I only wish people who are against the hunt would state the true facts about the seal hunt instead of telling lies , not to stop the hunt but to get more income for themselfs!!!
