Valerie Bertinelli Divorcing Rocker Eddie Van Halen

Valerie Bertinelli, 45 and her rock star husband, Eddie Van Halen, 50, are divorcing after 24 years of marriage, Bertinelli’s publicist confirmed Tuesday.

The couple has been separated for four years (Oct. 15, 2001) and according to sources “it’s amicable,” The divorce petition that Bertinelli filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday cited irreconcilable differences.

The Van Halen’s married on April 11, 1981. They have one son together, 14-year-old Wolfgang Van Halen.
